Language Focus: Vocabulary & Pronunciation building

Notes:
There are numerous vocabularies in English to support in building sentences for a smooth conversation. The students need to have the freedom on exploring their own words regardless knowing its meaning first.
Materials:
1. List of words and or flashcards in several setting and theme (kitchen, bathroom, dining room, fruit, animals, sports, etc)
2. blank sheets of paper
3. pencil or pen
Examples of word list: 1. plate
2. guava
3. lion
4. badminton
5. towel
Method:
Divide the class into two teams, boys and girls. The amount for each team may vary depends on the least number of members in a group. The two groups make a long line facing face by face. Each member of the two groups has to mention things in the themes that have been determined by the teacher. The member who has got the turn goes to the back line and continued by the other member of his/her back. The other member must not repeat the words said by the earlier member. If it is happening, the team fails and loses the round. Teacher can play this game for several rounds, depends on the situations.
Teacher : Yes, let us begin the game. I need you to mention the things that you find in the kitchen!
Student A : kettle
Student B : frying pan
